Westbound I-94 reopened at Allard after accident involving ambulance

Westbound I-94 is reopened after an accident involving an ambulance near Allard in Detroit.

The Michigan Department of Transportation had announced the closure around 4:00 PM Thursday. The accident forced traffic on the Interstate to come to halt in the westbound lanes. 

Eastbound was also slowed at the same point but it's unknown if it's related to the accident.

It's unknown if any patients were in the ambulance when the accident occurred or if anybody was hurt.
