(STORYFUL) - A video uploaded to YouTube showing a rounded rainbow in a cloud with little bits of sunlight shining through has gone viral. The video was shot in the town of Escazu in Costa Rica and uploaded by Jessie Montealegre, a vlogger from North Carolina.
"The skies opened up as if it were the end of times," Jessie wrote when she uploaded the video.
"It's like a sign of God," Jessie says in the video. "It's like the Lord is going to come through those clouds at any moment."
The phenomenon is actually called cloud iridescence, and occurs when small water droplets or ice crystals individually scatter light.
The video has been viewed 2.5 million times so far. At the time of writing, the video has been up for two weeks.
