A Canadian man very politely and nonchalantly got three bears to leave his backyard last week.

"Hope you enjoyed my yard."

That's the parting words a Canadian man gave to a family of bears who had taken up residence in his yard.

Jordan Cote had a hilarious reaction when the bears showed up in his backyard in Sooke, British Columbia last week. He walked out onto his porch and, in the most polite Canadian way possible, said just a couple words to get the black bears to leave.

"I need you guys to go. K? I need you to go. Thank you. I gotta go to work. Hope you enjoyed my yard. Have a good day. Bye now."

It worked. As soon has he nonchalantly said he had to go to work, the three bears turned and disappeared into the forest.

Even in Canada, the bears are friendly.
