Winter Weather Advisory calls for 2-4 inches in SE Michigan

A Winter Weather Advisory is in effect for southeast Michigan Monday until 7 p.m. Tuesday.

Snow began falling at about 9 p.m. Monday. The National Weather Service is calling for an accumulation between 2 and  4 inches, which is expected to impact the morning rush hour.

About two inches is expected overnight with about two more during the day. Winds of 15 to 25 miles an hour with gusts of up to 35 are expected Tuesday.

Temperatures will be in the lower 20s when the bulk of the snow is expected to fall.
