"Sometimes I feel like giving up and then I think, like, I have three kids standing behind me," Simone Hearn said. "I have been strong so long - I can continue to be strong."
But strength only gets you so far when you're dealing with so much.
Simone is a single mother of three with no easy task and her health has made things even harder.
"In February I found out I had stage 3 breast cancer," she said. "It's kind of overwhelming."
And she's only 24 years old.
Simone is in her second round of chemotherapy - she'll eventually have a double mastectomy.
But that is not this family's only challenge. Simone and 7-year-old Simyiah, 2-year-old PJ and 1-year-old Skylar have been staying with a relative in very difficult conditions.
No lights, no electricity for months. And now, that relative is losing that house leaving Simone, her children and their belongings - with nowhere to call home.
"I want to give my kids a home and give them everything they deserve," Simone said.
And she's trying. Even though her doctors don't want her working, she got a job at a restaurant - but even that has been tough.
"Yesterday I had an episode where I passed out from dehydration," she said. "It's just like - a lot.
"My kids is my motivation to keep going to work."

"We can have our house and we can eat and our lights won't be off or nothing," said Simyiah.
