SportsWorks: Woody Woodriffe, Pat Caputo & John Niyo

- FOX 2's Woody Woodriffe was joined by Pat Caputo & John Niyo Sunday night on the SportsWorks roundtable as they talked about the Lions' comeback win over the Jaguars.  They talked how the Lions are finding a way to win some close games and how the rest of the league is "mediocre."  The guys also praised the offseason moves Bob Quinn made.  They went in depth on how the defense and special teams won the game for the Lions and how luck has been on the Lions side.

The crew moved on to talk about Michigan's big win over Indiana and Michigan State coming up just short against Ohio State.  They talked how Michigan wasn't that impressive and struggled without Wilton Speight.  They also touched on how Michigan's offense needs to be more efficient against Ohio State and defense needs to have a great game for them to come out of Columbus with a win.  They went on to talk about Mark Dantonio's decision to go for two and the win against the Buckeyes and if they agreed with it or not.

They then moved on to the Red Wings and their struggles.  They talked about Jeff Blashill and how he can keep this team together through tough times.  The guys also talked how goaltending has bailed them out and if they should let the kids play now.

They moved on to the Pistons and their struggles lately.  How they are being out rebounded and the ups and downs of Andre Drummond.  They also talked how this team is so bad on the road and what could be the cause of it.

The guys moved on to Michigan State basketball where they barely beat Florida Gulf Coast on Sunday and how there was a clock malfunction at the end of the game.  They talked how Tom Izzo called out his teams "toughness" and if he was right to do it or not.  They gave their thoughts on Miles Bridges so far and how "he's an incredible talent" and if he will be playing at his highest level at the end of the season.  They also went on to Michigan basketball and gave their thoughts so far on the undefeated Wolverines.

Lions Game Night then came on where they did a full break down on the Lions' win Sunday and what they need to do for the quick turnaround Thursday.

Make sure to watch SportsWorks at 11pm every Sunday.
