Lions Win 32-17, Improve to 6-9

- The Detroit Lions go to 6-9 on the season as they defeat the San Francisco 49ers 32-17 in their last home game of the season.  Matthew Stafford threw for two touchdowns including one to Calvin Johnson.  Stafford ended up with 301 yards through the air while going 29 of 37.  Johnson had 77 yards on six catches.  Ameer Abdullah led the Lions with eight carries for 39 yards on the ground.

The San Francisco 49ers though came out fast taking the lead right off the bat.

It was the first offensive first quarter touchdown for the 49ers since December 28th, 2014.

The Lions responded with a 36-yard field goal from Matt Prater following an 8 play, 44 yard drive and then early in the second quarter they were on the board again.

For Jones, that's his first career touchdown.

The 49ers come right back to re-take the lead.

After a Lions punt, the Lions quickly got the ball back.

And it didn't take long for the Lions to punch it in.

49ers evened it up right before halftime.

The Lions came quickly down the field to take the halftime lead.

And then came out firing in the 3rd quarter to add to the lead.

The big play on the drive was when Matthew Stafford found Calvin Johnson for an 18-yard gain.  The defense then stepped it up for the Lions.

The second play was a 12-yard sack by Taylor.  Midway through the 4th the Lions took a commanding lead.

The Lions then had a huge defensive stop to pretty much put it away.

Theo Riddick had a solid game for the Lions.

Riddick ended up with seven catches for 63 yards and has the most yards ever receiving for a Lions runningback in a season.  Matt Prater added another field goal to ice it.
