CONFIRMED: Lions' Fire Sheldon White

- FOX 2's Dan Miller & Jennifer Hammond report the Detroit Lions' have fired Sheldon White.  

White, 50, assumed Interim General Manager of the Lions when Martin Mayhew was fired on November 5th. White played for the Lions from 1990-92 and was an NFL defensive back from 1988-1993.  

Since 1997 White was part of the Lions' organization and was Vice President of Pro Personnel since 2009 before taking over interim general manager duties. 

This is one of many moves that have been made since new Lions' General Manager Bob Quinn took over January 8th.
