Brandon Pettigrew Out For Year

Lions Head Coach Jim Caldwell announced Monday that tight end Brandon Pettigrew is out for the season after tearing the ACL in his left knee.

Pettigrew originally tore his left ACL in his rookie campaign.  The 2009 Lions first round pick had seven catches for 67 yards and one touchdown before being lost for the year.  He was also the Lions' main blocking tight end.
