Lions' Sign Jeremy Kerley

ALLEN PARK, Mich. (WJBK) - The Detroit Lions' announced Monday they have signed free agent veteran wide receiver Jeremy Kerley.

Kerley, 27, had 16 catches with 152 yards and two touchdowns in 16 games for the New York Jets last season. The Texas Christian University product has spent his entire five year career with the Jets and has 182 receptions with 2,225 yards and nine touchdowns.  

Kerley has 134 career punt returns with one touchdown.

The 5-9, 188 pound receiver was a fifth round pick of the Jets in 2011.  

Contract terms were not announced.
