Matthew Stafford Talks Rams and More!
ALLEN PARK-- - Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford spoke to me the media on Wednesday as the Lions (4-8) prepare for the (4-8) Rams on Sunday on FOX 2.
Stafford made it clear that he has moved on from the Hail Mary loss a week ago, but said "I paid him to say that" when asked about Calvin Johnson saying Stafford could throw the ball 80 yards.
"Just disappointed that we loss," Stafford said on the game last Thursday.
Stafford complimented the Rams on having a bunch of players on the defensive line that "are all playing at an extremely high level" and were "rightfully so" early round draft picks.
The NFL is forming a committee on what a catch is or isn't and Stafford was asked about it.
With the playoffs looking unlikely, the Lions are focusing on ending the season on a winning note.
