The Detroit Pistons are fighting for a playoff spot and have just made a big trade before Thursday's trade deadline.

Earlier Tuesday a source told FOX 2 the Pistons received Tobias Harris from the Orlando Magic for Brandon Jennings and Ersan Ilyasova. Harris was a first round pick by Charlotte in 2011. This year, he's started and played in 49 games. He is averaging 13.7 PPG, 7.0 rebounds and 46.4% from the field for Orlando.  He's also played for Milwaukee and Toronto.  Harris, 23, is a 6'9", 235 pound forward, has played in 275 career games and averaged 17.1 points per game last season.

Jennings, 26, has only played in 23 games this season after rupturing his Achilles on January 25th in 2015.  He is averaging 6.8 points per game this season and is shooting 37.3% from the field.  Ilyasova, 28, is in his first season with Detroit and is averaging 11.3 points and 5.4 rebounds.

Tuesday afternoon the Pistons officially announced the trade.

As of Tuesday, the Pistons are 27-27 and are behind Charlotte for the 8th and final playoff spot in the Eastern Conference.
