Reports: Michigan QB Speight has broken collarbone

Wilton Speight

University of Michigan starting quarterback has a broken collarbone according to multiple reports.

Speight, a redshirt sophomore, allegedly suffered the injury in Saturday's loss to Iowa.

Michigan (9-1) plays Indiana in the home finale Saturday. If the reports are true, backup John O'Korn has the most experience on the bench, having started a season and a half at Houston prior to transferring to U-M.

Speight has passed for 2,156 yards and 15 touchdowns this year but took a number of hard hits in Michigan's 14-13 loss.
