SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) - FOX 2's Sports Director Dan Miller was joined by Bob Wojnowski & Jamie Samuelsen Sunday night on the SportsWorks roundtable as they talked about the Lions' win over the Bears Sunday and their fifth win in a row. They talked how you can't take any teams lightly and now the concern goes to Matthew Stafford and his health. The guys also talked how Stafford's game has changed, how he is running for touchdown's now and how much the receivers respect his game, but Stafford is the key to the offense and "made winning plays."
They moved on to the Pistons and their debacle against the Sixers Sunday night. How it's "one of the worst losses in the SVG era." They debated on if it's inconsistent effort or just a young a team. The guys also talked how their is no excuse for this game and wondered how the team wasn't ready Sunday night.
The crew then moved on to the Red Wings and their 1-0 loss in overtime to the Flyers. They talked how Jeff Blashill is very upset they don't take shots or go to the net. The guys debated on if it's a lack of performance or lack of talent.
They then moved on to the Tigers and their lack of moves during the winter meetings. They debated on if it's a good thing if they look like they did a year ago. The guys also talked on if they could contend next season with the team they have now.
Lions Game Night then came on where they did a full break down on the Lions' win against the Bears and what they need to do to keep it going with two big games on the road coming up.
