SportsWorks: Jennifer Hammond, Sean Baligian, John Niyo & Cynthia Lambert

FOX 2's Jennifer Hammond was joined by Sean Baligian & John Niyo Sunday night on the SportsWorks roundtable as they led off with the Pistons squeaking by the Magic Sunday night and Stan Van Gundy not being happy with the effort his team gave in the second half.  They talked how the Pistons don't have an identity and this is when they need to take control.  Everyone on the panel agrees they are a playoff team.

Next on the rundown was the Lions and their win over the Bears.  Sean talked how the Lions defense shut down the Bears run game and got Mitchell Trubisky one dimensional.  John talked about Eric Ebron's resurgence and important he is to the team.

Former Detroit News Red Wings beat writer Cynthia Lambert joined the panel to talk about her new book "Power Play: My Life Inside the Red Wings Locker Room" where she gives stories on her time on the beat.  You can find the book at Amazon or Barnes and Noble.

Tigers were next up and they talked about the Ian Kinsler trade to the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim and what their offseason plans are.  They also talked if Michael Fulmer is next on the trade block.

The panel then moved on to the Hitachi College Basketball Showcase at Little Caesars Arena Saturday and gave their thoughts on Michigan State's and Michigan's victories and the event overall.

Lions Game Night then came on as the crew went into further detail about their win over the Bears, the playoff scenarios and previewed their game against the Bengals.

Make sure to watch SportsWorks at 11pm every Sunday.
