SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) - FOX 2's Woody Woodriffe was joined by Bob Wojnowski & Jamie Samuelsen Sunday night on the SportsWorks roundtable as they talked about the Lions win in Tampa Sunday. The crew brought up all the turnovers and Wojo pointed out how the Lions had two wins today with their victory in Tampa and Seattle's loss to the Jaguars. Jamie says the Lions stay undefeated against teams with losing records and they have stayed in playoff contention. The panel also talked how Matthew Stafford has played terrific lately even with no run game.
Pistons next up on the rundown and they broke down their six game losing streak. Wojo talked how they've been in all these games, so it's not time to panic yet. Jamie says they aren't losing to bad teams, but they have lost some of their mojo and it all comes down to Reggie Jackson.
The crew moved on to the Baseball Hall of Fame and the election of Tigers' legends Alan Trammell & Jack Morris. They talked how this is validation of the 1984 Tigers and how Lou Whitaker would be the next one.
Detroit News' Angelique Chengelis joined the roundtable to talk Michigan football. They started talking about the back and forth with Jim Harbaugh & Mark Dantonio last week. The crew then moved on to Jim Harbaugh recruiting players from Ole Miss over the weekend. Wojo talked how Shea Patterson is a "very unique talent" and Angelique talked how without Wilton Speight they can add some depth if Patterson comes to Michigan. Angelique also talked about her book "Michigan Man" and how Jim Harbaugh has rejuvenated their program.
Lions Game Night then came on as the crew went more in depth into the Lions win in Tampa and previewed their home contest next Saturday against the Chicago Bears.
