SportsWorks: Woody Woodriffe, Jamie Samuelsen & Pat Caputo

- FOX 2's Woody Woodriffe was joined by Jamie Samuelsen & Pat Caputo Sunday night on the SportsWorks roundtable to break down the Lions second preseason game.  They talked about how strong the defensive tackle position is and how they have a lot more overall depth in the Bob Quinn era.  Jamie brought up how no matter what, they need Ziggy Ansah to be Ziggy Ansah if they are going to have success.  Offensively they talked how Greg Robinson is playing well, but the faster Taylor Decker comes back the better.

Tigers were next on the rundown and how they at least got one win against the Dodgers.  They talked about Justin Verlander's great game Sunday and the rumors still circulating about him being traded.  Both Pat and Jamie talked about when the best time to trade Verlander is and about the faith in Al Avila right now.

Major League Baseball umpires were final on the docket and how Angel Hernandez is a terrible umpire.  The crew talked how Ian Kinsler was right in what he said and how it was "disgusting" that they put the white wristbands on in a show of solidarity.

Make sure to watch SportsWorks at 11pm every Sunday.
