SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) - FOX 2's Woody Woodriffe was joined by Pat Caputo & John Niyo on the roundtable to talk about the Lions winning in Green Bay and what it means to their future. Pat talks how it sums up the season and they need to regroup. John says there isn't much you can take out today, but got to see what Zach Zenner can do. They also talked about the noise coming out of Allen Park and what it means.
Next on the rundown was the Pistons struggles and loss Sunday to the Magic. Pat talks about their lack of effort for most of the season. John brings up the poor starts by the Pistons and how it reflects on the starters. He also says Dwane Casey is seeing what Stan Van Gundy went through and built. Pat says they need a true point guard.
Michigan getting crushed by Florida was brought up. Pat says the biggest difference was Michigan's top players didn't play in the game. John says the loss definitely means something, even though the top players didn't play. John also says Jim Harbaugh has a lot of changes he needs to address.
The crew also previewed Michigan State playing Oregon at 2:30pm Monday on FOX 2. John says it's interesting Brian Lewerke is starting and how he has a lot of rebuilding to do. Pat says it would look good if their offense shows something.
Michigan going to 13-0 in basketball was debated and how far they can go. They also gave their thoughts on Michigan State basketball.
Lions Game Night came on to wrap up the season and what changes they might make.
