SportsWorks: Woody Woodriffe, Pat Caputo & Sean Baligian

- FOX 2's Woody Woodriffe was joined by Pat Caputo & Sean Baligian Sunday night on the SportsWorks roundtable as they started with the Lions loss to the Ravens on Sunday.  Pat says fans are blaming Matthew Stafford for the Lions struggles this season and says Stafford is the only reason the game was competitive today.  Sean says if anything today showed how much work Bob Quinn has to do.  They talked how they continue to have no run game, the draft class has struggled and the defensive line isn't very good.

The crew moved on to Michigan State football heading to the Holiday Bowl and playing Washington State.  They talked how it's a tough matchup for the Spartans and Pat brought up that the Outback Bowl is more prestigious.  Sean says Michigan and South Carolina are teams that didn't beat anyone this season.

The panel then broke down the College Football Playoff and if Ohio State got a raw deal.

Michigan State basketball was next on the docket and how they are the real deal with a shot to win the National Championship this season.  Sean says he think they might only lose four or five games this season and Pat says he believes it's Izzo's best team.  Michigan was brought up next and how they usually improve as the season goes on and have some young talent.  Sean says don't sleep on them and how their win against Indiana shows what they can do.

The crew moved on to the Pistons and their struggles the last two games.  Pat says he's not worried as long as they stay on course.  Sean says he's surprised there isn't more buzz about the Pistons because they are fun to watch.

They then went to the Red Wings and their seven game losing streak.  Sean talked how they don't have a lot of talent, but getting crushed by Montreal the last two games is an embarrassment.

Lions Game Night then came on as the crew discussed where this team is after their loss to the Ravens as they get ready to head back on the road against the Buccaneers Sunday.

Make sure to watch SportsWorks at 11pm every Sunday.
