SOUTHFIELD, Mich. (WJBK) - FOX 2's Woody Woodriffe was joined by Pat Caputo & Sean Baligian on the roundtable to talk about the Lions loss to the Bills. Sean says it's been a very tough watch and Pat says it would've been something else if it wasn't for the poor special teams. Pat says Matthew Stafford didn't make the big plays when he needed to and Kenny Golladay bailed him out a few times. Sean says he's seen Stafford play like this before and isn't sure if it's him taking a step back. Both gushed over Golladay and Snacks Harrison.
Pistons upsetting the Celtics was next on the rundown. Sean says it's the same team no matter who the coach is. Pat says it's hard to explain how they beat Boston & Golden State. The crew talked how they can play with any team in the east.
Michigan State basketball was also brought up and their dominating win over Green Bay. Pat talks how Nick Ward has taken the next step and they have a core. Sean says they will make a name for themselves in March.
Next up was Michigan beating Western Michigan. Pat says they will have their issues and says it's almost gone too good for them this season. Sean says they've done a good job keeping the noise outside.
Tigers free agency was broken down. Pat says he thought they overpaid for Jody Mercer and these are guys they can flip at the deadline. He also says it's all about their youth.
Red Wings were also talked about and how injuries are hurting them again.
Lions Game Night came on to wrap up the loss to the Bills and preview next week's game on FOX 2 against the Vikings.
