WATCH: UDM Introduces Bacari Alexander as New Head Basketball Coach
DETROIT (WJBK) - The University of Detroit Mercy introduced Bacari Alexander as new head basketball coach.
Alexander, 39, played two years for the Titans from 1997-1999 and was an assistant coach at his alma mater from 2001-2007. Since 2010, he has been an assistant at the University of Michigan. In 2008 he was an assistant at Ohio and from 2008-2010 he was an assistant at Western Michigan University.
From 1999-2001, Alexander was with the Harlem Globetrotters.
Ray McCallum was fired earlier this year after eight years as the Titans head coach.
