The Essie Mae Good Deeds Foundation will hosts its first free science nap sack/school supplies kickoff event next weekend at the Northwest Activity Center. The foundation is a non-profit geared toward education and community empowerment. It will celebrate by handing out free science display boards, nap sacks, hygiene bags and other school supplies from noon to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 27 at 18100 Meyers Rd.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to:

  • Register in free scheduled raffle pulls for prizes.
  • Participate in a special raffle for pre designed display boards.
  • Enjoy free lunch to-go bags for children and adults.
  • Take photos with UPS Cicotte Drivers and Sponsors.
