NB 75 now open after semi-truck crash

A stretch of northbound I-75 is now open after it was shut down temporarily due to a jack-knifed semi-truck as the road conditions seem to worsen under heavy rainfall.

MDOT reported Wednesday morning that as of about 5:30 a.m. northbound I-75 was shut down between Fort and Dearborn. All traffic lanes were blocked.

Michigan State Police said the truck was leaking fuel, so hazmat has responded.
