Making Strides walk in Oct. but take action now

Michigan is making strides to end breast cancer!  Whether you're a survivor, or a loved one has been diagnosed, most people has been affected by breast cancer in some way.

The American Cancer Society's annual walk is this October, but here are a few steps you can take now!  1) Find a walk closest to you.  2) Start organizing a team: family, friends, coworkers, and more! You can register your own customized team, or join one, on the Making Strides website.  3) Don't have to wait to walk - start now, even if it's just a few minutes a day!

And if you don't want to walk, but still want to take part in the cause, feel free to consider becoming a volunteer to help with check-in, water stations, information, and much more.

Let's put on some pink and honor breast cancer survivors, remember those we have lost, raise breast cancer awareness, and support breast cancer fundraising.  An event full of passion, power and purpose.
