No one is too tough to need help with health - so we're teaming up with the MIU Men's Health Foundation to raise awareness to take on men's health issues!
The MIU Men’s Health Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that is dedicated to men’s health advocacy and the awareness, education, research and treatment of prostate cancer and men’s health-related issues.

Kick-off Men’s Health Week with Blue Monday, recognized in cities across the country.
The celebration will include live music by The Session Band, health screenings, interactive lawn games, food trucks and prizes.
Men are encouraged to spend Blue Monday participating in a healthful activity, donate to their favorite men’s health charity and share their participation on social media, using #BlueMonday2019. Businesses, corporations and community organizations are asked to embrace Blue Monday as part of their culture, joining employees together to support the cause.

Cogs & Kegs

Griffin Claw Brewery in Birmingham
Join in the fun for a good cause this year at Cogs & Kegs! An anticipated 200-400 cyclists will choose between a 10-mile casual ride or a 30-mile course, starting at Griffin Claw, touring through Metro Detroit, then concluding back at Griffin Claw, where riders can enjoy a beer, bar bites and evening entertainment.
Riders will receive a custom growler they can fill with “Mr. Blue Sky” beer. The 30-mile ride begins at 6:30 p.m. and the 10-mile ride at 7 p.m. To join either ride, cyclists can register online for $30. Cyclists who register the day-of will pay $35.
Run for the Ribbon 11th Annual Gala Shine On
6:30 PM to 10:30 PM
The Waterview Loft at Port Detroit
This year’s gala, Shine On, will feature views of the Detroit River, live music by B House Productions, a constellation station, strolling dinner and silent auction.
The night sky will shine in honor of those affected by prostate cancer in a commemorative moment as the sun sets and will honor the foundation’s first “Men’s Health Champion.” Tickets for the event are $189 each or $2,000 for a Patron Table, which includes 10 tickets and on-site recognition.
