Head for the Cure 5k Run/Walk Sept. 17

(WJBK) - A new study shows brain cancer is now the deadliest childhood cancer in the United States. The CDC says it has now passed leukemia. mainly because treatment for leukemia has improved.

This weekend a family-friendly event is happening in Detroit to help raise money for brain cancer research. The Head for the Cure 5k Run/Walk is Saturday, September 17 at 8 a.m. on the Detroit Riverfront at the Rivard Plaza. The address is 1340 Atwater Street.
