The recent rain, bitter cold, snow, ice storms have been brutal for business - and not only for those working inside.

"I've never experienced anything like this, it's like what do you do," said Deena Epps, Elwood Grill.

The weather has also made it tough for those outside of Comerica Park.

"They canceled so many games, they are messing with my money," said Stephanie Dorsey, Comerica Park attendant.

FOX 2: "How many customers have you had today?"

"Three - all day," said Epps.

Elwood Grill is usually jam-packed with Tigers fans, but employees are feeling the pain. First on opening day, then more postponed games. The Yankees were sent home after some postponements and now - more April snow.

"Hopefully we can play tonight and make some money," Epps said. "You never know what to expect."

Comerica park attendants, and professional beer pourers Stephanie Dorsey and Rhoda Webb are layered up for the cold.

Wednesday's evening game had to be changed to 1:10 p.m. because of a wintry mix on the way.

But every employee appreciates how loyal Tigers fans are.

FOX 2's Erika Erickson hit the somewhat empty streets downtown, to see how workers are coping.
