Coney Island carjacking suspect seen on surveillance video

Detroit police is asking for the public's help identifying and locating a suspect wanted for a carjacking. 

Police say the carjacking happened in the parking lot of a Coney Island in the 19000 block of Schoolcraft around 2 a.m. on January 30. The carjacking was caught on surveillance video. 

In the video, you can see the female victim get out of her 2016 Chevy Malibu in the parking lot, when a man walks up to her. He gets close to her and points a gun at her head, but she shoves him away and walks off. 

The suspect got in her car and drove off. The victim wasn't injured.

Police say the suspect appears to be in his 20s, and is 5 feet 8 inches tall weighing 180 lbs. He was wearing all black clothing at the time.
