Drunk driver arrested in hit and run, ramming police in wild dashcam video

SHELBY TWP., Mich. (FOX 2) - A drunk driver was arrested Thursday after police said he was involved in a hit and run and then led police on a chase in Shelby Township that ended with him in the ditch.

The 52-year-old man from Davisburg was arrested after the Thursday chase.

Police said they were called to a Speedway for a hit-and-run involving a pick up truck. Police found the truck and he ran from police to the area of 21 Mile and Van Dyke. 

He rammed police vehicles multiple times in his attempt to get away before a deputy performed a PIT maneuver on him. The truck crashed into a ditch on the side of the road and came to a stop when the truck hit a culvert.

The driver was arrested. and charged fleeing, assault, and operating while intoxicated. He's been identified as Mark Bundridge and is being held on a $20,000 bond. 

There were no serious injuries in the crash.
