Like people all around the world, Hillary and I are thinking about Aretha Franklin tonight & listening to her music that has been such an important part of our lives the last 50 years. We hope you’ll lift her up by listening and sharing her songs that have meant the most to you.— Bill Clinton (@BillClinton) August 14, 2018

Jay-Z and Beyonce dedicated their Detroit concert on Monday night to Aretha, thanking her for her music.
"She taught me who i was suppose to be in a studio as a producer," said Jermaine Dupri.
Dupri produced a song for Aretha in the late 90's. As he sent his prayers, he reflected on their time together, calling the singer a superhero.
