This past Friday was another Friday the 13th and, once again, a Mega Millions player in Michigan hit it big on the supposedly unlucky day.

According to the Michigan Lottery, a winning ticket of the jackpot was sold at the 7-Eleven on Airport Road in Waterford last Friday. The winning ticket was one of two sold for Friday's drawing, the other ticket was bought in Rhode Island.

The jackpot prize was $43 million and the players will split the pot and each receive $21.5 million before taxes.

The Waterford winner hasn't come forward yet.

Last week, the Michigan Lottery said that Friday the 13th was typically a lucky one for players.

Three Lottery players have won big Mega Millions jackpots on the supposedly unlucky days. Fred Topous of Kent City won $57 million on June 13, 2008. Kendall Warren, of Kalamazoo, won a $27 million jackpot on Friday, May 13, 2011. Kelsey Zachow, of Port Huron, won the game's $66 million jackpot on Friday, June 13, 2014.
