Group gathers outside Fordson High School demanding answers after alleged sex assault incident

A group of 20 or 30 gathered outside of Fordson High in Dearborn to demand answers after an alleged sexual assault incident involving a freshman boy.

Dearborn Public Schools and the police are investigating an alleged hazing incident at Fordson High School.

The incident is said to be sexual in nature.

Students told us they were shut down by the school when they tried to hold a silent protest Friday.

Sunday night students, alumni, parents and community members gathered with one voice  to say they wont tolerate what allegedly happened.. what the administration calls a "rouge hazing incident."

Dearborn Public schools hasn't gone into details about what happened, but says those involved have been identified and disciplined.

"I just hope people understand that if they think the football team accepts or tries to degrade any of this... that's completely wrong,"Jafar Altalaqany, a varsity football captain said.

He said the boy is on the JV team, the Varsity team was away at the time of the incident and that both teammates and the coaches are taking the situation very seriously.

"He was getting touched...things were happening that should not have been happening."
