White Castle triple murder suspect headed to trial

Two men are in police custody for a triple murder at a White Castle in September on West Warren on Detroit's west side, but only one of them will be going to trial.

Police say 29-year-old William Wilbourn-Little of Detroit is charged with three counts of first-degree murder in the deaths of Rashawn Harrington, 25, Trevaughn Anthony, 24, and DeShawn Gadson, 20. All were shot several times on Sept. 9 inside the White Castle around 12:30 a.m.

Mika Pittman, Gadson's girlfriend, was in a car outside the fast food place and testified she saw and heard everything.

"I heard screaming and yelling. Then I heard the guns going off," she said, saying she heard at least 20 shots.

Pittman also testified that Gadson and the suspect Wilbourn-Little knew each other and didn't get along. She says she ran into the White Castle immediately after the murders and she described the horrific scene in court.

Charges against Farod Anderson were dismissed on Tuesday.

A trial date has not yet been set..
