Woman wakes up to stranger touching her legs in Detroit

Detroit police are investigating a home invasion that happened early Tuesday morning on the city's east side.

The victim told police the perpetrator entered her home through a back window and went into her bedroom around 5 a.m. The woman told police the man pulled off her blanket and touched her leg, waking her up.

Police say the woman, 59, screamed and the perpetrator ran away through the back door.

The suspect is described as a bald black man, about 5 feet 7 inches tall with a heavy build.

The incident happened on St. Antoine street, between Canfield and Warren Avenue.
