Detroit Lions wide receiver made some impressive catches on Sunday in Dallas. On Tuesday, he followed that up with a good deed on a Detroit-area highway when he stopped to help at the scene of an accident.

Tate was driving on the Southfield Freeway Tuesday morning when there was an accident in front of him. According to Detroit Lions Senior Writer and Insider Tim Twentyman, Tate pulled up to help the people involved in the crash.

Twentyman tweeted the story of Tate's actions, which the wide receiver retweeted and said everyone was okay:

"Just glad everyone was ok. Especially the little 3 year old girl "

Tate was not involved in the crash, he just stopped to help.

The FOX 2 Sports team is working to get an interview with Tate. We'll update this story as we learn more information.
