19-year-old shot by Detroit homeowner during alleged attempted break in
DETROIT (FOX 2) - A teenager has been shot allegedly trying to break into a Detroit home, according to police.
Detroit police say a 19-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound while reportedly attempting to break into a home in the 20000 block of Avon.
Police said the shots were fired by the female homeowner. The suspect is in temporary serious condition, officials confirmed.
Police have not released any further details.
