62-year-old found dead in home with gunshot wound

Detroit, (FOX 2) - Detroit Police are investigating a fatal shooting that happened in the 6000 block of Plainview around 11:30 p.m. on Friday.
Police say they received a call from a caller checking in on the victim, a 62-year-old male. The caller stated the lights in the victim's house are on and his car is in the driveway, but he is not responding.
Upon arrival and entering into the house, police discovered the victim lying down on the floor of the rear bedroom with a sheet covering him and a gunshot wound.
Medics pronounced the victim deceased.
