For years Donna Wells has been trying to find her daughter

"No one vanishes from the face of the earth, no one - especially not Tamala," she said.

Tamala Wells was last seen on Aug. 6, 2012. Her boyfriend told police she left their home on Appleton near Telegraph on Detroit's west side never to be seen or heard from again.

On the anniversary of Tamala's disappearance, her mother is pleading for information.

"All I'm asking is that you stand up, and be responsible in a situation where a family has been in turmoil for six long years," Donna said. "It is the heaviest burden I have ever had to carry my entire life."

Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $3,500 for information leading to the location of Tamala Wells - an aspiring nurse and a mother of two.

"A son has to grow up without her," Donna said. "A daughter that has grown up without a mother, that is practically raising herself."

If you have any information on the disappearance of Tamala, please call the anonymous Crime Stoppers tip line at 1-800-SPEAK-UP.

Rewards are paid when tips lead to an arrest and Crime Stoppers does not wait for a conviction to pay out those rewards.

"I can't live my life not knowing where my child is," her mother said. "I just want to know where my baby is."
