Lily's Snowpile: Girl collects Christmas toys for children in hospital

(WJBK) - A Brownstown girl celebrates her "Smile-a-versary" every year by collecting and giving toys to children in the hospital around Christmastime.

A few months after she was born, Lilyanah had surgery to correct her cleft lip and cleft palate. Now, every year around the time of her surgery, her family delivers toys to the Children's Hospital to bring a little joy to the kids who will be there over the holidays.

Family and friends leave their donations at Lilyanah's house, or they send money and Lily goes shopping. The doys are donated as part of the Children's Hospital of Michigan Foundation's SNOWPILE program.
