Nurses holding fundraiser for Make-A-Wish Foundation

(WJBK) - Nurses work long, hard hours taking care of us when we're sick -- but it doesn't end there for some local nurses who are making dreams come true for children.

Tammy Cass, Karen Lawrence and Sherri Collins join us on The Nine to tell us about a fundraiser they're doing for the Make-A-Wish Foundation during National Nurses week, which is May 6-12.

Their fundraiser baskets will be available to view from 6 a.m. until 4 p.m. on May 9-11 at St. John Macomb Hospital in the Webber Cancer center. You can purchase tickets for the raffle or make a donation. The drawing will be on the 11 at 4 p.m.
