Sam Martin making a difference off the field

(WJBK) - Sam Martin is one of the best punters in the National Football League, but an injury kept him on the bench for the first part of the season. That didn't stop the Detroit Lion from making a difference off the football field, though. 

He stayed very active in the community, putting in time helping with everything from hurricane relief to handing out Thanksgiving meals. 

He has an event coming up where he'll be feeding women and children at the Coalition for Temporary Shelter. The kids also get to go through, pick out a toy and even sit on Santa's lap.
