(WJBK) - The battle of the beard is about to begin here in Detroit. The second annual Circus of Whiskers is just weeks away.

The Circus of Whiskers is a contest to find the area's best facial hair. You could be crowned king or queen of the Circus of Whiskers on Saturday, November 5.

The event is at 7 p.m. at the Tangent Gallery. Tickets are $15 at the door, and proceeds will be donated to Detroit Animal Welfare Group (DAWG).
