Chef of 6th annual Wright Gala prepares calamari dish

(WJBK) - Attendees can experience the transformative power of music at the 6th annual Wright Gala next week.

The gala hosted by the Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History will take place at 7 p.m. on Oct. 8 at the museum, located at 315 E. Warren Ave. in Midtown Detroit's Cultural Center.

Money raised at the gala goes toward the museum's educational programming.
