Detroit Design Festival Sept. 21-25

(WJBK) - The 6th Annual Detroit Design Festival is back this year celebrating creativity in the city. The event brings together designers and enthusiasts alike to celebrate Detroit's role as a design capital.

The festival is back September 21-25.Signature events returning include Eastern Market After Dark, Light Up Livernois, Youth Day, and an all-new Design Summit, featuring the world's leading design thinkers.

The festival will also feature dozens of Independent Design Happenings, including installations, shows, previews, performances and workshops, taking place at venues throughout Detroit. Nearly all events are open and free to the public.
