Play features role of women in Detroit's '67 rebellion

The summer of 1967 forever changed the City of Detroit.

Riot. Uprising. Rebellion.

It's been called many things, as violence and civil disobedience spilled into the streets.

MSU Professor Dr. Lisa Biggs joins FOX 2 to talk about AFTER/LIFE, a new stage play opening this weekend.

It details the role women played in the rebellion and features Detroit actors.

The show runs July 20-22 and July 27-28 at the Joseph Walker Williams Recreation Center, 8431 Rosa Parks Blvd.
