Atlantic City mayor rips Detroit, Fox 2 responds

The mayor of Atlantic City, New Jersey took what many are calling a cheap shot at the City of Detroit.

Don Guardian talked about the bad day he was having.  He lamented the fact Caesars went bankrupt and that three elevators at City Hall weren't working.

Then, after a few seconds, he cackled, "Hey, at least we're not Detroit."

Guardian then laughed at his own joke for a few seconds as those in attendance seemed to groan.

Guardian then said, "Ok." and changed the subject.

Keep in mind, Atlantic City has seen its fair share of troubling news in recent months and years.  It's lost four of its 12 casinos, lost at least 8,000 jobs, and seen its gambling revenue decrease by roughly 50 percent over the last four years.
