Drug intoxication ruled cause of missing Waterford man Gregory King's death

Authorities have released the cause of death of missing Waterford man Gregory King.

After finding King's body on August 2, officials determined King died of drug intoxication.

He was found across the street from where he worked as a cook at Bingo City on Dixie Highway.

King had last been seen on Friday, July 21 when his boss Steven Campbell told him he appeared tired and sent him home early. Although his roommate offered to drive him home, King decided to walk to his apartment on Scott Lake Road.

Friends and family searching for King said he was last spotted at Watkins Lake Road and Dixie Highway around 8 p.m. that Friday and appeared upset. He was not seen again.

Campbell had told FOX 2 that King had no missed a day in four years on the job.
