Man's body falls from dumpster as construction crew prepares to demo Detroit home
DETROIT (WJBK) - A construction crew was about to demolish a vacant home Friday afternoon when they noticed a foul smell. When they checked what it was, they found a man's body in a dumpster.
The home in the 8500 block of Strathmoor was about to be demolished around 1:30 Friday afternoon. According to Detroit police, members of the construction crew started smelling strong odors.
They then started to dump a dumpster when a man's body came out. Police say he had head trauma but not elaborate any further.
Police said the victim is a black man and have no identification for him. He's currently listed as a John Doe.
