UPDATE: Angela Caraway has been found safe. A family member says she checked herself in to a hospital, and the hospital notified them Tuesday morning.

Detroit police and the family of a woman who left work Saturday morning but never came home are still asking for any tips that help bring the 29-year-old woman home.

Angela Caraway was reported missing Sunday March 4. Her husband said he last spoke to her the day before around 9:30 a.m. He said she was leaving her nursing assistant job at Beaumont Hospital in Dearborn and that she would be home soon.

Kent Caraway II said that she sounded worried about being home with the kids because she has postpartum depression.

"She finally admitted it a week or two ago. We were trying to work my schedule out so she could get more rest," Caraway said.

Caraway said Angela's coworkers said she had a rough night at work and that she was crying.

The family is leaning on each other for support and hoping that she comes home soon. Especially for the sake of her young son.

Search teams assemble daily at the family's church and they need volunteers. If you want to help, just go contact the Abundant Life Christian Center at 313-533-2640.

Police are still investigating and her family says they remain hopeful that Angela will be found alive and well

Angela is described as a 29-year old female, 5 feet 3 inches tall, weight 140 lbs., with brown eyes and long braids (light and dark brown color braids). She was last seen wearing green scrubs and a green jacket and was driving a Silver, 2016 Dodge Dart vehicle.

If anyone has seen Angela Caraway or knows of her whereabouts, they are asked to please contact the Detroit Police Department's Eighth Precinct Investigative Unit at 313-596-5800.

Beaumont issued a statement:

"We have the utmost concern for Angela. Our thoughts are with her family at this time and we want nothing more than to see her come home safely."
