Purse robber sends semi-nude photo from Detroit woman's phone to her contacts

- A woman in Detroit says not only was she attacked while entering her own home, the robber stole her purse and sent a private picture of herself that she had on her phone to her contacts.

It started as a routine trip to the Dollar General at 7 Mile Road and Greenview Avenue on Detroit's west side around 6 a.m. Friday.

Kimberly Good had just taken her son to work and headed back home on Avondale.

"As soon as I got in the house, a guy with a black hoodie pushed me. He startled me so hard and just grabbed my purse. Never did say anything," she said.

She chased him to the corner, but she says he jumped in a grey car and took off.

Inside her purse was her ID, about $100 in cash and her cell phone.

"With my cell phone, he took one of my pictures, I could say the million dollar picture of me in my bra and sent it to all of my contacts,"

FOX 2's Camille Amiri asked why she calls it that.

"Out of my pictures in the phone that one picture in my bra. And it was really private for me," she said, adding it was not meant for everyone's eyes.

Good discovered the photo had been sent only after getting a a replacement phone.

Her friends were calling and texting her, wondering about the photo.

While she had to explain to them the situation, Kimberly says she's more concerned about this happening to someone else.

"Everyone look out your house early in the morning or late at night before you even leave because he's going to try to do that to somebody again," she said.

Good describes the suspect as a dark-skinned black male in his early 20s, wearing a dark hoodie and gray shorts.

Anyone with information is asked to call Detroit police at (313) 267-4600.
